We are scheduled for the baseball game tonight in Atlanta. Their will be some support for the hometown Braves for sure. However, a splinter group, led by Jess Cole, is rallying the troops for the Cubs.
Our attendance at this game tonight is made possible by a grant from Trudy Bozeman. This is her gift to Spirit. She is in Abilene today attending my family reunion. That his her gift to me!
If you get the chance, tell her we love her and appreciate all she does for us.

PAYNE FAMILY REUNION UPDATE ! ! !
Attendance was down from last year from 110 to 90. This may be because Elroy and Jan didn't bring their 12 grand and great grandchildren. Also missing were Lynnanne, Michelle, Kathy, Robin, John(don't worry, we got Sam to do the auction), Allen, "Colorado" (he was busy making boudan sausage) and most of Gloria's clan.
The afternoon was spent taking family pictures, LOTS of LOUD talking, and the auction. It brought the BIGGEST sales ever. We ended the day with a family meal and a talent show. And yes, I DID have a talent to share. (Hannah, thanks for teaching me your "ALL GOOD GIFTS" song on the recorder).
The reunion was nice but it just wasn't the same without Hannah spending time with her cousins and Jeff's sense of humor.
They are proud of you two and the mission God has placed on your hearts and in your lives. (I'm proud of you too!!!) They are also praying for SPIRIT and the wonderful ministry you are sharing with others.
I'm proud to be a part of this wonderful and loving family.
