We are leaving here early today to tour the Vicksburg Military Park in Mississippi. It may not be early to you as I believe we crossed like 2 time zones yesterday getting to Longview! We scheduled this tour of the Park to (1) help us with our study of Cultural Diversity and (2) to satisfy the craving of our on Civil War buff, Luke Coleman. It should be a great day.
As you can imagine with a group of 53 people, even a little $10 entrance fee and a bus parking pass can add up to a lot of money. Thankfully, we received a gift from Cal and Pam Hengst that will take care of today's scheduled event. They have been very good supporters of Spirit, and we are grateful to them.
If you get a chance, thank them and let them know how much we appreciate them!
