Let me tell you, the kids have really enjoyed the notes from home. My emails come to my phone, so I check them intermittantly. Almost everytime, someone comes up to me and ask if they got one. They are anxious to read them, even if they've been talking to their families via the phone. I suspect it just makes them feel a part of something.
We've received good wishes from California and Kansas. We've received happy thoughts from several alumni including Carley Allen, Staci Lee, Lacy Warrington, and Randy Rohlfs! We've also heard from our pastor at FUMC, Ricky Burk. We've even had good wishes from our old friend and all-time favorite bus driver, Larry. We really miss him!

Savanah gets so many emails it's almost like we're text messaging with her family. Each time I tell her, it brings a smile. She thinks next year she should have her own section on the web-site. She's probably right.

Syd, we really miss you. we hope that you are being sweet, but we really need you home. The goats need to be feed, trash needs to be taken out, zane needs to be changed, and my feet need rubbin.
